Reading compelling stories inspires me to write.

In my photos my main goal was to match the aesthetic of Lana Del Rey’s “Art Deco” song. The song gives off a very calm, vintage vibe.

I try to inspire creativity in my classroom by starting the school year with poetry- reading poetry, analyzing poetry, watching poetry performed, and writing poetry. I like to start with creative expression so that students see school as a place that supports them as creatives and as writers.
